With backs, generally speaking there are two types of problems. Those
where something has happened to the back, such as a car accident,
sport injury, an awkward twist or heavy fall, and those problems where
nothing on the face of it, has happened at all.
Where something has happened the conventional medical approach is
to give something for the pain, which may be effective at relieving
symptoms. Often it takes alternative, direct intervention to the back
such as Chiropractic, Massage or Osteopathy to bring a longer term
solution. Kinesiology is also very effective here.
It is very common to find that nothing obvious has happened to the
back and pain occurs when the back is a symptom of something else
going on in the body. So here, conventional direct intervention may
not be effective. Kinesiology looks at the functioning of the body
as a whole (for example assessing the effective functioning of glands,
or particular organs), so that potential causes of pain can be identified
and an appropriate treatment can be applied.
Kinesiology has a proven track record in helping people who have been
suffering, sometimes for years or decades, with back problems. Nick
